Hope Solo and her Pre-Menstrual meds

A lot of athletes have been in the news these days for drug use.

Today it has come up that Hope Solo got a public warning for a positive prohibited substance. But, of course, Hope has all the excuses in the world on why this was in her system.

"Solo was taking a prescribed medication, in a therapeutic dose under the care of a physician. The medication when metabolized resulted in the adverse analytical finding."

So why does she get a public warning if it is clear that she was taking meds prescribed by her doctor?

Why are we even notified?
This is the biggest bunch of bull shitted sentence I have ever read.
Do they really think we are this stupid? I guess so!

She was taking a "pre-menstrual" something er other. While the name of the drug is not mentioned in the article, what in the HELL could she be taking that when "metabolized" could set off a drug test? If you have cramps lady, you take a Midol. Buy a heating pad.

So, Ms. Solo can still be in the London Olympics - I guess that's what happens when your doctor makes a no no! He immediately comes out with, "No it's MY fault! I mistakenly gave her this - blah blah blah."

You know who else's doctor made a No no Hope? Michael Jackson's. I wonder how he is doing these days. Hrm.

Seriously Hope, you have pre-menstrual problems - get some damn Midol!

Also, Olympics, how about we change some rules?

We have so many "rule breakers", and such a silly little rule over a simple drug to mask the other drug she was obviously taking so "carefully under a doctors care.".

We need to change the rules.

Bottom line, she took a banned substance in the organization. She gets away with it.

Hope Solo - One.
Drugs - Zero.

More Voter ID Issues

Really America? We can't do one thing right? Our government is moronic if they can't figure out anything!

I am so sick of hearing about this damn VoterID Law! Either do it, or don't. Dont drone on about it for 4 more years!

Here is your perfect solution:

Are you ready for the simplicity of this thought process?

I DONT THINK YOU ARE READY!

Make the states provide voter registration cards WITH a photograph of the person it was issued to. if they can do for drivers licences they can do it for voter registration cards.

Here in Texas, we provide a Photo ID for FREE.

Let's re-read that okay. Slower. Sound out those big words.

Make the states provide voter registration cards WITH a photograph of the person it was issued to. if they can do for drivers licences they can do it for voter registration cards.

Now, where is the issue in this? People are putting so much emphasis on voting and who's voting, and etc, and it's like... ANYONE can go vote?

Does Obama not understand that? Maria Mamacita with her 5 "legal" babies... if she can read a name upside - she's a voter! Because she says "I'm Jessica Marie _____" and you know what? They don't ask for a picture ID. I should go in there and say "I'm Barak Obama!" ... "but my name is on the list there sir!"

It's just silly to me that we just keep beating around the bush.

Simple problem - No Id. No Vote. No Problem.

My first time voting I took my Voters Registration card, my ID and went in to vote. My cardboard card with no picture was the only thing they wanted. She didn't even want to see my ID.

I have not voted since. Sorry.

It's not fair terms to vote on, so I don't vote.

The Baker Hotel - Your Personal Outside Tour

Living in Fort Worth, Texas I don't have a lot of abandoned things to go and see. The Swift Armour Plants in the Stockyards is about it, and well I am sorry, but cattle pens and abandoned slaughter houses can only get my heart palpitating so much.

Which brings me to The Baker Hotel. I had heard stories, and read lots of web-pages of this place being amazing inside. A beautiful old hotel built in 1929, now defunct and sitting in ruin. Penthouse Suites, Ballrooms, and just things you can not see anymore! They plan to renovate and make it a new beautiful hotel.

Mineral Wells, where the Baker Hotel is located, is about an hour away from me. I set out on my journey, ready to bust down some plywood and get into the hotel. I had never seen the hotel before, only in pictures, and well, you can't miss it! It's pretty much the only huge thing standing in this tiny town. You drive up, and here is your view:

The front

A little drive through

The side

Care for a swim?

the back of the Hotel

The place is boarded up pretty good. Little holes were punched out and so I stuck my camera in and took some shots. Here is the lobby of the hotel, looking to your right.

And here is the lobby, looking to your left.

This is very back. The drive through part drives through to here :D

And that concludes are The Baker Hotel tour.

The place is boarded up pretty good. If I had a buddy to lift me up I could have been inside. Maybe some other time, I have to get inside before they go and renovate it all!

:D

Hair!

This blog is for some hair ideas. All of these pictures are from Pinterest. Hopefully you can are an imaginative bunch and can learn from pictures.

Here is how to get wavy hair. Just simply wrap your hair around and then place a hot iron for a few seconds. Steam will set - and your hair will be wavy!
This is a simple way to hide a pony tail holder with your own hair. This picture includes a "poof" up top.
In a blog picture I had from before - I basically did this style for my hair. It takes 5 minutes. Very neat!
This is how I wear my hair if I wrap it up with a pen. I had never seen it laid out like this - so for the people who always ask, "How do you do that?"! There ya go!

I'm happy that the side ponytail has come into / back into fashion. I like doing a side pony tail. All of my current hair styles have to be "low" and normally I can't have my hair slicked back. I have sideways bangs and they don't clip yet!

I honestly sometimes just want to chop all my hair off! Cute short style!

Fishtail braiding is hard to explain. I learned from watching. I was raised by my dad so I never had any "real" girly lessons. I don't even know how to french braid. I know how to fishtail! Here is a beautiful picture of a fishtail braid:

I end with a cute hat picture. My dad always tells me I am a "hat person"... but I rarely wear hats.

Random News

This blog should be entitled "Random news."

1. A woman from Albuquerque, NM has tried to sell her soul on Ebay. In the past people have sold the strangest things, and gotten bids on the strangest things! Sadly, so far no one has made a bid. Does the woman send a plaque or something? "MY SOUL!"
2. Something about a zombie theme park. I didn't even click to read because this zombie stuff is getting out of hand. There are no such things as zombies. Maybe ghosts - to an extent - but that is a different blog. It's too much when people are making a spectacle of themselves. You all look ridiculous, I hope you know! Just because someone smoked some bath salts and ate a face off, doesn't give you the right to dress up and make fun of him. You remember what happened to him? Yeah, he died.
3. Casey Anthony surfaced in Ohio this past weekend. Why hasn't she dropped off the face of the earth? Why hasn't someone killed and buried her body yet? Oh well. Soon!
4. Justin Bieber and major hottie Selena Gomez may be having trouble in paradise. I didn't know we were caring that much. I hope she dumps his pretty boy ass. She hot - she deserves much better ass!
5. Britney Spears is still hot. Who woulda known. I would have. Money can buy a body to kill. And she owns it, bitch. After all; It's Britney Bitch.

Casey Anthony - Still a POS

More "news" is creating it'self from Mr. Baez's book about his client; Casey Anthony.

"Presumed Guilty, Casey Anthony: The Inside Story." Is the name of the attorneys book.

My only question:

When do innocent people start Googleing things about suffocation and suicide?

The day little Caylee went missing, "someone" in the house web searched for some not so good stuff on the home computer..

Because that's what I do when my child goes missing:
I Google suffocation and suicide.
I don't call the police.
I don't search for the child.
No, I search chloroform on the internet.

I'd really like to question the sanity of the jury that found this okay. Like really? Are you that stupid? We just going to overlook that fact? Does the "system" not realize it has been duped, in a huge major way, by some stupid girl? She LIED to you. Yes, you guys figured out she lied. She lied to cover up a MURDER.

Now, I'm not going to lie. We are all nosy people. We are all a bit weird.  Granted, I have never searched for suicide, chloroform or "fool proof suffocation", but I have searched for some weird stuff on Google.

But, alas, there is a major difference between "Fool Proof Suffocation", "Suicide",  "Castle interior" and "Kasey Kahne Shirtless."

So, here I sit again. As the details of this story continue to roll out of the woodwork's. Still amazes me how all this has played out. A family has covered up the murder of a little girl.

I guess us as a justice system are used to that. The "Penn State" family covered up boys molestation's! Why not cover up the murder of a little girl too?

Quick Update

Just a quick update for my 3 whole blog readers! Okay okay, all 4 of you! All four of you are so special, I wanted my readers to know that. Not you number 5, just 1-4. Don't ever get confused.

Had a wonderful and fantastic 4th of July. We swam, Skyleigh wore her new cute 4th outfit, and I snacked all day and ate lots of hot dogs. I'm not a hamburger fan. I also made a "confetti" cake, but It didn't turn out the way I had planned it to.

I have been sick these past few days. Horrible cough, I fear I may cough up a lung one of these times! I feel better now! A few days ago I came up to work and worked a few hours. I kept feeling hot and cold, then super hot. Then I couldn't breathe. It was not fun!

My phone has been turned off :( I have to pay my bill tomorrow. I forgot all about it! Haha. Normally they send me this stupid text (With my Metro Piece of Shit phone), but I must have deleted it or something. Oh well! Just one more day without service. So glad I spent 4.99 on TweetCasterPro so that I can use it when my phone is off! It took the "4g" away as well, but when it does connect to the internet - I still get the internet! That's all I care about! :D

Very short update.

It's hot in Texas ya'll!

Pay Pal Part Deux

So, the gentleman that bought my laptop has been e-mailing with me back and forth these past few days. I went two days without any word from him (or any money deposited into my PP Account)

I sent him an angry angry e-mail and he wrote me back after about a day of no response and apologized for the delay. He said PayPal made the mistake, and that the money would be in my account in 48 hours. It's been 24, and still no sign of anything. I have one more day for this man and this company.

I'm not getting too worked up about it, if the money hits then it hits. If it doesn't hit, then I'll be getting back in touch with the police!

Sucks that this is my first (and only) PayPal experience. It has been a horrible experience! If the money does actually go into my account, I bet it will take 4 weeks for them to get it into my bank account. I made this account so I could "easily" sell my laptop, and the selling part was fantastic. Sold it quickly - made the mistake of being a "first timer" and believing some dude I don't know on the internet when he will "talk me through it."

And PayPal. Their customer service is a joke - asking me to forward the e-mails to them? And they'll get back with me in up to 3 days! It's technically day 3, and hey guess what. NOTHING. No e-mails, no links, no clicky things. Nothing. It's a joke. Oh, but I can talk to an automated machine (Chat with "Susan" or whatever her stupid name is); who is no help at all. Anything I try to "search" it asks me for the transaction number - which is fake. Or has an extra number or letter.

It's very frustrating that/when bad things always happen to me!

I will update you once the actual money hits! JOSE in Tennessee has my laptop, - and I'm still waiting for my money "Oh so handy PAY PAL!"

Love.

Random Love Blog;

Love. Such a simple word. Four letters.

I love you.

Love is a funny thing. So many definitions of the word; yet it all comes down to one thing.

Love is a feeling. A desire. A smile. A want. It can be anything!

My sense of love might be a little more obscure than other peoples.

I have never been in love before. Sure I love my parents, and I love my daughter, but I have never been IN LOVE. I have made myself believe I was in love with someone, and he fooled me pretty good good.

The one person I love, I can not give up on. I can't let go. I don't know why it is so hard to move on, but it seems impossible. Other ex-boyfriends I have been able to get over. But you? You are still there, in the back of my mind. Everyday. For the past 6 years.

Funny how you can think about someone daily, numerous times a day. Funny how you brain can work things around and make you think otherwise. Funny how the person I love, lives 8 hours away.

The man I love does not love me

It's very hard to accept that fact. Why doesn't he love me? Why won't he love me? He used to love me... Etc. Many questions can be asked, and many hours can be lost thinking about it.

Bottom line, in my case, is we live to far away. Two different states. We have wanted to do a long-distance thing, but it's harder than I ever imagined to do that. All I can sit here and do is get insainly jealous when some girl pits pictures on Facebook of you.

That used to be me. I used to do that. And now you move from me to her.

You love someone else.

(No, my dear. You love her because she is there. She is closer.)

I may have messed up the one relationship I really wanted. The one I would have worked for.

Scratch that. I know I have messed it up. But people forgive, and move on.

I knew the second you stopped caring that it was over.

Does it not matter to you that I would pack up everything I own and move out there? It's obvious you are not going to take the step and come here. Oh well, you'd have to actually care about me first. You'd have to take me seriously.

__

I find it so hard to wrap myself around the fact that there is someone out there who actually wants to be with me. With little ole me. I know someone can make me happy, and bla blah, but to look at a guy and picture myself with him FOREVER? I don't see it. I'm almost 30.

I picture my wedding in my head. I smile at my future husband standing up at the alter. I can never see his face.

I wish it was your face.

Everyday. Everytime.

__

I wish I could call you anytime I wanted.

I wish I could just feel wanted.

I wish I could know what love feels like.

I wish I could get married.

I wish I could get over you.

I wish I could meet a guy who likes ME. Not just what he can "get out of me."

I wish I had you.

My wish will never come true.

Celebrity Update: Weekend Edition

I hope everyone had a great weekend!

Just wanted to update everyone on a few things that happened!

2. Not a big Madonna fan, but her beautiful "I'm-Really-12-but-look-30" daughter Lourdes sported her mom's infamous "cone bra". Not sure why this is news worthy, I mean it's just a fashion statement.

4. Dixie Chicks Emily Robison and other are expecting their 4th child. Congrats on your wonderful news lady we haven't heard a single from in like 7 years.
5. John Edwards and his mistress are no longer a couple. But, their table for two was reserved in hell already!
6. Ann Curry is leaving the Today show. Bigger question: Ann Curry was on the Today show?
